GridRoll is a simple, chronological photo and video gallery for iPhone and iPad. It shows the items already in your device's photo library and lets you view, favourite, share, organise into albums and delete them. It is provided by AYDA Digital (Mehrdad Yazdani), United Kingdom ("we", "us"). It runs entirely on your device: no account, no server, no data collected (see the Privacy Policy).
By downloading or using GridRoll you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Nothing is sent anywhere, so your gallery is protected only by your device. Anyone who can unlock your iPhone or iPad can open GridRoll and see everything in your library. Keep a passcode or Face ID / Touch ID on, and lock or sign out of devices you share. Items you share from the app go wherever you send them. We are not responsible for what others do with anything you have shared, or for anyone who gains access to your device — a partner, family member, employer, or anyone else.
GridRoll is free and provided "as is". We make no promise that the app will always work, or that any item, name or setting will be kept. We are not liable for lost, deleted or corrupted photos, videos or data, however caused. Keep your own backups.
Use GridRoll only lawfully and only with content you are entitled to hold and share. You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and for anything you share from the app. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where the law requires it (though, having no data, we would normally have nothing to provide).
To the fullest extent the law allows, GridRoll is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability to you for anything arising from the app is limited to £50 (the app is free).
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
We may update the app or these terms; the current version is always at this address with its "last updated" date. You can stop using GridRoll at any time by deleting it — that removes everything it stored on your device (your photo library itself is untouched).
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep any protections your local law gives you that cannot be taken away by agreement. For downloads from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it.
